After five rounds of seat allocation at Indian Institutes of Technology, one seat – at IIT Bhubaneswar – remained unclaimed. Close to 421 seats were vacant across all engineering institutes. In the latest round, which ended on Sunday, about 69 seats from various IITs allotted in previous rounds and not accepted by students were reassigned.
