High School students are required to read with purpose and automatically. They need to be aware of comprehension and vocabulary strategies being employed, especially when encountering difficult text and/or reading for a specific purpose.

Eduvelop High School reading teaches and challenges readers, taking them on a journey of philosophy, exploration, and freedom. The literary passages contain verse composition, philosophical thought, autobiographies, and biographies. The informational passages cover dates, events, scientific discoveries, historical fact, etc. All reading passages teach vocabulary, word definitions and grammar. All passages are factually accurate, informative and interesting.
